  • Step 2.5: Load Custom Download Agent (DA) File (If required)
  • Some secure boot devices require a custom DA file for SP Flash Tool. The DA file allows the tool to bypass secure boot. You can get the DA file for your device from websites such as Hovatek Forum. To load the custom DA file, do the following:
Click on Choose in front of Download-Agent and select the DA file (usually named MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin).
  • Step 3: Turn off your device (if possible, remove and reinsert the battery).
  • Step 4: Click on Download at the top of the tool. This will begin the downloading and flashing process.
You can also choose the "Firmware Upgrade or Format + Download", Format + Download is not recommended (especially for secure boot devices).
  • Step 5: Connect your device to the PC using a USB cable without holding any buttons. This will put your device into download mode, and SP Flash Tool will detect it.
  • Step 6: A red progress bar and a yellow progress bar will appear, indicating that flashing is in progress. Do not disconnect your device or interrupt the process until it is finished. How to Restore Your Android Device with SPHow to Restore Your Android Device with SPWhen the flashing is finished, you will see a green tick mark with the message "Download OK."
